Ghana has largely flown under the radar for North American tourists. This is partially due to its geographic location next to Ivory Coast, Togo, and Burkina Faso in West Africa. But its relative obscurity ought to change. It’s one of the most stable democracies on the continent and a fascinating blend of attractive beaches, historically-rich cities, and verdant jungles.
There is a wealth of history to discover across the nation, from the coastal forts that were central to the slave trade to cities that uncover stories of Ghana’s independence from European colonial control—it was the first sub-Saharan Black African nation to achieve independence. The geography is split between the coast and the inland.
On the coast, beaches and trading ports abound, offering a lively environment with great seafood and colorful markets. Inland, the landscape completely changes to one of thick forest full of beloved animals. It’s relatively easy to get around the country and the people are friendly and generous, making it a good place to make friends.

A valid U.S. passport is required to travel abroad and must be valid 6 months beyond travel dates. For this tour, your passport should not expire before Aug 27, 2023.
All prices are based on the exchange rate in effect at the time of price quotation. In the event the US dollar devalues, JEK Travels LLC reserves the right to increase prices accordingly. Your final invoice will reflect increases resulting from currency devaluation.
When making your reservations, you can choose to pay in full or make monthly payments.
If you choose monthly payments, you will receive monthly invoices when your payment is due.

The group flight will leave US on November 22, 2024 and arrive in Accra on November 23, 2024. Check-in into the hotel is November 23, 2024. If you are purchasing your own flight make note of these dates and plan your flight and airport transfers accordingly. If you want to take the transfers with the group to the hotel make sure your flight arrives on November 23, by 10am and depart on November 29th in the late evening.

AUTOMATIC BILLING PLAN
You have the option to enroll in our automatic billing and remain stress free knowing that your future payments will be made automatically.
When you book, your invoice will show the calculations evenly divided for you. The automatic billing plan will show the dates that your payments will automatically be processed in advance every month.
Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge, you will need to select the box for automatic billing.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 AND IMPACT ON TRAVEL
Please be advised that you are considering, or intending to proceed with, international travel at a time when COVID-19 is a known global risk. Any person choosing to proceed with travel with that in mind, does assume and accept responsibility accordingly for the risks, potential loss and limitations that may apply.
JEK Travels LLC, advises that COVID-19, and the health and security measures around COVID may impact parts of your trip and may affect the operation of some travel services. Any country you travelling to, from or via, and the airline(s) you are travelling on, may all have strict requirements to limit the spread of COVID-19.
These requirements may include, but are not limited to:
-Wearing of masks at airports, while on an aircraft, and when out in public.
-Compulsory requirements to have adequate health & travel insurance coverage.
-Requirement to be fully vaccinated before being allowed to enter or transit a country.
-Being fully vaccinated or be tested for COVID-19, before being allowed to board any flight.
-Subject to pre-screening or screening to enter your destination country or any transit countries.
-Subject to quarantine/isolation periods in any country subject to screening results.
-Having proof of vaccination or health status, when staying in hotels, dining, sightseeing, etc.
-Changing restrictions on sightseeing, due to closures or other public health concerns.

All passengers over 2 years must present a negative COVID-19 viral test result, or proof of recovery from COVID in the past 90 days, to the airline prior to boarding USA bound flights, or boarding will be denied. This is regardless of vaccination status. Currently, the test must be taken no more than 1 day before the flight to the USA. These requirements may change at any time. Passengers may still have to complete any mandated quarantine requirements, if applicable. Locating and accessing COVID testing sites in destination, and paying the costs for COVID tests are the full responsibility of the traveler. These costs can be up to $300, as a guideline.
COVID-19 is causing constant & ongoing changes in the application of the above types of measures. The way a country, government, airline or airport chooses to deal with the threat of COVID is constantly changing.
It is your responsibility to keep yourself and members of your traveling party (travel companions) informed of, and meet, all requirements in relation to your trip and any COVID based restrictions, and we suggest these are constantly monitored until your trip is complete, as they can change at any time even while travelling overseas.
Any additional expenses or fees incurred, or any loss (including missed or non-refundable trip components), resulting from airline or government requirements & restrictions, will be the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Payments made to JEK Travels are non refundable.This is because JEK Travels has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required.
Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes. Any information provided on travel description pertains to US citizens only. Non-US citizens should check with the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements.
Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport.

Name changes are allowed with a $200 name change fee up until the final payment date and $100 after final payment date plus any vendor fees.
Late payment of $250 per person is required after final due date listed on your payment plan.
Late payment fees are automatically added to your reservation the day after your final due date.
All late payment requests must be approved by management before the final payment deadline on your invoice
