Before planning travel arrangements for your flight, hotel, car rental, tour, cruise, or other trip, please read these TERMS AND CONDITIONS carefully. Your pursuance into the actual planning signifies your agreement with the following:
JEK TRAVELS LLC (“Consultant”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”). JEK TRAVELS LLC is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.
JEK TRAVELS LLC assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under JEK TRAVELS LLC’s control. You hereby release JEK TRAVELS LLC from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.
JEK TRAVELS LLC has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, JEK TRAVELS LLC recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, JEK TRAVELS LLC recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release JEK TRAVELS LLC from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.
For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation (vacation) insurance. We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.
JEK TRAVELS LLC is a fee-based agency that specializes in excellent service, however, consultations are FREE. Vacation planning involves much time and my work is based on personal experience and professional expertise. I research hotels, resorts, cruises to meet your specific needs, contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, and draft itineraries which are personalized for my clients, and so are my fees. Fees can range from flat rates for straightforward itineraries to hourly fees with a maximum cap for more complex, multi-destination journeys. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO WORK FOR FREE. JEK TRAVELS LLC does not accept cash. We accept the following payments credit cards, personal checks, cashier’s check, and money orders, made payable to: JEK TRAVELS LLC.
When booking through JEK TRAVELS LLC‘s preferred booking engines, clients are responsible for any errors made including, but not limited to, incorrect name spellings that lead to cancellation or change penalties, missing travel components or incorrect travel dates entered. JEK TRAVELS LLC will assist with correcting these errors, client will be charged a administrative fee of $50.00.
Payment schedules are set forth by travel suppliers and are due on the dates specified. Failure to pay on time can result in an automatic cancellation by the affected supplier and can lead to forfeiture of prior payments. All major credit cards are accepted unless otherwise noted by supplier. Checks or money orders will be accepted made payable to JEK TRAVELS LLC at 10 days prior to payment due date to give check time to clear. Cash is not accepted at any time.
REVISIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Revision, Cancellation and Refund policies will vary by individual suppliers. Supplier cancellation fees can be up to 100% of the total trip cost and no-shows are non-refundable.
Refund restrictions and policies for unused travel and vacation components vary and are subject to rules of individual travel suppliers. Insurance premiums, airfare and some supplier fees are non-refundable. Please inquire about supplier policies prior to confirmations.
JEK TRAVELS LLC may impose a $150 per person administrative fee in addition to supplier fees and may range up to 10% of total travel costs. Administrative fees will be quoted at the time of confirmation and included on all invoices.
Travel insurance is highly encouraged, which may cover cancellations for covered reasons outlined in the policies. Policies vary with differing exclusions (such as pre-existing medical conditions, work-related issues, supplier bankruptcy, change of mind, etc.).
GROUP EVENTS WITH JEK TRAVELS CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Events hosted by JEK TRAVELS are non-refundable. Clients are urged to purchase the trip protection that is offered by their vacation planner.
Reservations, Deposit and Final Payment
A first deposit list on the website along with a completed registration form is required for all new reservations. After you make your first deposit, you are required to make monthly deposits or your booking may be cancelled for abandonment of reservation. All previous payments will be forfeited. If you find yourself in a difficult financial situation and cannot make a monthly payment, please email us immediately so we will know not to cancel your reservation. Please know it is your responsibility to be sure that whoever you choose as your roommate/ travel mate for your selected travel event is also making their monthly payments. We can provide roommate account summaries upon request. All payments to JEK TRAVEL AGENCY are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be sure you will attend event before submitting payment. This is because JEK TRAVELS has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation. All final payment dates are clearly noted on the website of the event you have selected. It is your responsibility to be sure payments arrive to us on or before that date. All late payments will require a late fee of $200. If you are paying late, you must send your request by email and give us the date you will make your late payment. If you fail to make your final payment by the final payment date, your reservation will automatically cancel and all previous deposits will forfeit. If you see a travel event you would like to participate in, you can make your first payment at any time even if it is in the middle of a payment schedule, provided that space is still available.
Method of Payment
We accept all major credit cards. We also accept payments of checks and money order by mail. These payments must be received 10 days before final payment is due so funds can clear. Checks or money orders must be made payable to: JEK TRAVELS. We also accept payments by phone, only if you have a valid credit card authorization form on file. Monthly payments must be made to keep your reservation current. Payments of $75 or more is acceptable.
JEK TRAVELS reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain any person as tour participant, and to make changes and substitutes in any itinerary of its group travel as it deems necessary for the comfort, safety, or the convenience of the group travel participants and the proper carrying out of the event, and to withdraw any or all tours announced in this program should conditions warrant. In the event a tour is cancelled, a full refund paid to the JEK TRAVELS by the participant will constitute full settlement. Please it be known if any guest has any special needs or requirements.
JEK TRAVELS will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. The Americans with Disabilities Act is only applicable within the United States and facilities for disabled individuals are limited outside its borders. Most transportation services, including the touring motor coach, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a vacation participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance and must assume full responsibility for their well-being.
The passenger assumes the full risk of use and of any prohibitions imposed by vendors. Generally motorized scooters are not suitable on international tours. Smoking is not allowed on transportation that is exclusively used by JEK TRAVELS. Passport are required to travel outside the United States. The passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the conclusion of your trip. You should apply and obtain a passport far in advance for any group travel outside the United States. Most airlines require us to submit your Passport information to them 60 days before travel. Please be sure your passport arrives before then if applying for a new one or getting a renewal.
If you are traveling on one of our group cruises, you can travel with a certified birth certificate and government issued identification. Please note that a hospital record is not a birth certificate. Information for obtaining a United States Passport can be found at: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html. The accommodations listed with our group travel packages are intended to be used with each tour. If changes become necessary for any reason, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent in standard to those shown. Unless requested otherwise, we will book non-smoking rooms. Please note that hotels cannot always guarantee smoking rooms. JEK TRAVELS is not responsible for time changes made the airlines, bus conductor and railways. Flight time, seat assignments are solely at the discretion of the airlines. Hotel room location is also the sole discretion of the hotel. Requests can be made but are not guaranteed. Baggage fees of the airlines are not included in our package prices. If you decide to check baggage you must pay this fee directly to the airline. The carriers, accommodations and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees of JEK TRAVELS. JEK TRAVELS assumes no responsibility and will not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity by reason of (1) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of its suppliers, (2) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any employee of these suppliers, (3) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated, or used by any of these suppliers, or (4) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise, of JEK TRAVELS, or (5) acts of God.
Government issued photo identification is required for ALL travel (driver’s license or state ID, etc.). JEK TRAVELS LLC strongly encourages ALL travelers to utilize a Passport when traveling. Cruise Lines indicate that passengers can use a birth certificate when cruising on closed-loop cruises (cruises originating and terminating in a US departure port). This policy is fine if all goes as planned. If, for some reason, a passenger needs to disembark for any reason in an international location, they will be unable to return to the US with a birth certificate. JEK TRAVELS LLC will not be liable if passengers travel without passports.
Passports are definitely required for all international travel and some countries require VISAs. Travelers will not be permitted to depart without proper identification. Travelers must ensure that passports’ expiration date is at least 6 months past date of travel.
Please check with US Department of State for more information relating to your travel destination. Special documentation is required for minor children traveling with or without their parents. If traveling with children, please check with JEK TRAVELS LLC before departure for any specific policies or restrictions.
Non-US citizens must contact the consulates of any countries you are visiting to verify any visa requirements. Non-US citizens residing in the US must also contact the US Citizenship and Immigration Service for re-entry into the US.
JEK TRAVELS LLC encourages the use of E-Docs (electronic documents) where possible. E-Docs can be completed online and printed at your convenience. If travel documents are delivered to JEK TRAVELS LLC, they will be delivered via US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx. For late bookings and re-bookings, or if expedited service is required, a $35 shipping fee will apply. We check all documents prior to delivery. When received by passenger, check for accuracy of all information. JEK TRAVELS LLC will assume no liability if documents are not checked upon receipt. Call us immediately at (866)313-4170 if inaccuracies are found.
Tickets and vouchers are negotiable instruments please keep them in a safe place at all times. Lost, stolen or misplaced tickets vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.
Immediately make a copy of your documents when received. When arriving in cruise cabin or hotel, keep the originals in a safe and carry the copies with you at all times.
AIRLINE CONFIRMATIONS, CHECK IN, SEAT ASSIGNMENTS, MISSED FLIGHTS
It is important to confirm your flights with the airline prior to departure: 24 hours for domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights. Failure to confirm international flights or failure to use any portion of an airline reservation may result in automatic cancellation by the airline for all continuing and return flights. Familiarize yourself with the airline’s policies and requirements prior to booking.
Unless stated otherwise by the airlines, it is important to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and at least 3 hours prior to departure for international flights.
Late arrival at the airport can result in loss of assigned seats or denial of boarding. Denial of boarding is not eligible for refund or travel insurance reimbursement.
Airfare re-bookings are subject to airline penalties, rebooking fees, plus any difference in cost for the new booking.
Seat assignments are subject to change by the airline without notice.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
All prices are thought to be accurate, available and current at the time of advertising and booking with the supplier. The information, products and services may include inaccuracies and typographical errors on behalf of the suppliers. JEK TRAVELS LLC assumes no responsibility nor guarantee the accuracy of, including but not limited to, the price, information and description of the products and services listed on this website from suppliers.
JEK TRAVELS LLC is not liable for any errors made by clients creating their own bookings online. By booking online, clients take full responsibility for any errors that may occur (name misspellings, incorrect travel dates, etc).
JEK TRAVELS LLC is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any supplier, or personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting from causes outside of the control of JEK TRAVELS LLC.
JEK TRAVELS LLC shall not be responsible for travel delays or cancellations or any illness, death, injury, damage or loss of vacation time arising thereafter. Changes to cruise ports of call or itineraries due to mechanical, weather, or world events beyond our control are at the sole discretion of the cruise line and may occur without notice. Any applicable compensation resulting from such occurrences is also at the sole discretion of the supplier.
JEK TRAVELS LLC shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred by the traveler in connection with, or by supplier employees or contractors, terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures, or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside of the control of JEK TRAVELS LLC.
Travelers assume complete and total responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, inoculation vaccination, or other entry requirements for each destination, as well as re-entry into the US, and all safety and security conditions at such destinations, in connection with the proposed travel itinerary. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, check the Travel Advisory section of the US Department of State website.
Should you desire to continue with JEK TRAVELS LLC’s services, a $250 Vacation Planner Retainer is requested. Vacation planning involves much time and my work is based on personal experience and professional expertise. I research hotels, resorts, cruises to meet your specific needs, contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, and draft itineraries which are personalized for my clients, and so are my fees. Fees can range from flat rates for straightforward itineraries to hourly fees with a maximum cap for more complex, multi-destination journeys. This Vacation Planner Retainer is non-refundable.
Clients who are reserving a GROUP will be assessed a $250 – $750 Administrative Fee, which is non-refundable.
